Kitchen Assistant – Dessert Production (Full-Time)

Role Overview

We are an established family dessert business seeking an enthusiastic Full-Time Kitchen Assistant to join our growing bakery team in Kilmessan, Co. Meath.

In this role, you will help produce our high-quality dessert products. This is a permanent, year-round position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a truly positive working environment.

Key/ Core Responsibilities

  • Mix and prepare batch ingredients: Measure, scale, and mix ingredients for large-scale dessert production.
  • Bake and monitor products to ensure perfect consistency and quality.
  • Operate and clean bakery and production equipment.
  • Package and label finished desserts safely for storage and distribution.
  • Maintain hygiene standards by keeping work areas spotless and compliant.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Food industry or similar experience is a bonus, but not essential. The right eager candidate will get full training. We are looking for an all-rounder.
  • Availability: Must be available full-time Monday through Friday. Starting from 7/9am – 3/5pm. Not a part time role.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional Saturdays and Sundays as needed.

  • Located close to Kilmessan : Currently live relatively close to the place of work at Kilmessan, Co. Meath (Own car transport required. The working location is based in a rural area with no public transport)

Unfortunately, this is not a summer or part-time work role.

Pay: €14.50-€16.00 per hour
