We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Kitchen Porter to join our growing team here at Kilkea Castle

The successful candidate will support the chef and kitchen team in maintaining hygiene & cleanliness levels in the kitchens.

Description:

Reporting to the Head /Sous Chef, the Kitchen Porter will support the chef and kitchen team in maintaining hygiene & cleanliness levels in the kitchens.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a supply of clean ware / cooking ware & kitchen utensils at all times
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times
  • Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen is an advantage.
  • Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
  • Minimum 12 months valid work permit required
