Your New Company

A medium-sized mechanical and electrical contractor with a turnover of €30+ million. They work on a wide variety of projects that include high-density residential schemes (apartments + housing), hotels, fit-outs and office blocks, along with some industrial work. They have a mixed-use development project starting in Dublin in the new year and are looking to add a senior member of staff to their mechanical division that will oversee these projects. They work with a selected number of main contractors and win repeat business directly from developers and main contractors.

Your new role

  • Manage and supervise all aspects of mechanical projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare project reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.



What you will need

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Trade Qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation, and maintenance.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driving licence.
