About Rockhill House
Set within 100 acres of woodland just outside Letterkenny, Rockhill House is a unique country house estate combining the character and history of the original Manor House with the standards expected of a luxury hospitality venue.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistants to join our team.
We have both full-time and part-time positions available, with a range of hours and shifts to suit. This role may suit experienced housekeepers as well as candidates who are new to hospitality and have the right attitude and attention to detail.
Previous housekeeping experience is an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
About the Role
As part of our Housekeeping Team, you will play an important role in ensuring Rockhill House is presented to a consistently high standard for our guests.
You will be responsible for the cleaning and servicing of guest bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas and other areas of the property, helping us provide a welcoming, comfortable and beautifully presented environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean and service allocated guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the required standard.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of corridors, public areas and guest facilities.
- Ensure rooms are properly prepared and presented for arriving guests.
- Complete general and periodic cleaning duties as required.
- Report maintenance issues, damage or other concerns promptly to management.
- Follow procedures for the handling and reporting of lost property.
- Assist guests with general queries regarding the facilities and services available at Rockhill House.
- Help ensure guest requests and requirements are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of the wider team.
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation, hygiene and grooming.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Report accidents, incidents, hazards or damage promptly and take appropriate action where possible.
- Carry out other reasonable housekeeping duties as required by management.

Experience
Previous experience in housekeeping, accommodation services, cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
Full training will be provided to successful candidates.
