Liability Adjuster - EL/PL

Location: Remote (Ireland) with travel required

Salary: €50,000 - €60,000

Our client, an impressive and well respected loss adjusting business, is seeking an experienced Liability Adjuster to join their growing team. This is a remote opportunity with travel across Ireland as required. Applications are welcomed from candidates based anywhere in Ireland. The Role

The successful candidate will investigate EL/PL and Motor claims, applying their technical expertise to determine legal liability and produce clear, comprehensive reports for clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting detailed investigations into Employers' Liability, Public Liability and commercial Motor claims
  • Managing a portfolio of liability claims from instruction through to conclusion
  • Gathering, analysing, and evaluating evidence to establish liability
  • Preparing detailed technical reports and recommendations for clients
  • Assessing claim values, including the application of relevant personal injury guidelines where appropriate
  • Delivering an excellent customer experience while maintaining high technical and service standards
  • Managing relationships with clients, policyholders, solicitors, and other stakeholders

Key Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of three years' experience in liability claims
  • Strong knowledge of Employers' Liability and Occupiers' Liability claims and associated legal principles
  • Sound understanding of the legal and practical framework surrounding Employers' Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Motor liability claims
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong IT skills with experience using claims management systems
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity, and personal accountability
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider team
  • Experience managing a varied caseload while meeting service level agreements, regulatory requirements, and client expectations
  • Strong investigative skills with the ability to identify key issues and gather relevant evidence
  • Ability to prioritise workload and deliver accurate work under pressure
  • Relevant insurance qualifications such as APA, CIP, ACII, or equivalent advantageous

Hours & Flexibility

This position offers a 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with a flexible approach to working hours.
