Chef de Partie – Full-Time Position

Texas Steakout, Limerick City

Texas Steakout is one of Ireland's longest-established and busiest restaurants, serving quality food in the heart of Limerick City for nearly 40 years. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our professional kitchen team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who is passionate about food, takes pride in their work, and is looking to develop their career in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for a designated section of the kitchen.
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and portion control at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation.
  • Adhere to all HACCP, food safety, and hygiene procedures.
  • Assist with stock control, stock rotation, and waste management.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and wider kitchen team.
  • Support and assist in the training of junior kitchen staff.
  • Maintain high standards during busy service periods.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie.
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen.
  • Positive attitude and strong team-working skills.
  • Good organisational and communication abilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
