We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to build and scale fulfillment center infrastructure in a 3 months contract with possibility of extension or become permanent. This role drives development for upcoming fulfillment centers that process millions of customer orders daily.

The Operations Infrastructure Services team builds and improves core infrastructure components, hundreds of thousands of IP-enabled devices, a growing fleet of robots, and other user devices in facilities worldwide. You work directly with network development engineers, systems and software engineers to secure the technology supporting Fulfillment Centers and Transportation sites. You also develop our client Corporate and Divisional Software projects, enhance existing software, automate support processes, and document systems.

Job Qualifications

• You have deep hands-on experience developing natively in AWS. You understand network, cloud, and information systems concepts broadly. You are detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Python and Java development experience
• Agile/Scrum experience
• AWS services and DevOps practices
• System design and architecture: design patterns, reliability, and scaling for new and existing systems
• Networking, storage systems, operating systems (UNIX/Linux), and hands-on systems engineering

Salary: 61k

The ideal candidate must be eligible to work in Ireland without sponsorship.
