Healthcare Assistant – Live-in Care in Ireland 5 or 7 days per week

United Irish Healthcare is currently recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to provide support to a client in their own home.

This role focuses on providing practical assistance, personal care, and companionship while supporting the client’s daily routine in line with an agreed care plan.

United Irish Healthcare is a homecare provider in Ireland, founded by healthcare veterans. Our focus is on delivering consistent, high-quality care using efficient processes and technology.

Pay & Contract

  • Range €640 to €1,024 weekly

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and supervision during the day
  • Assist with mobility and transfers using a walking frame
  • Support with personal care, including dressing, bathing, and hygiene
  • Assist with toileting and daily routines
  • Provide medication prompting
  • Prepare and serve meals
  • Support the client emotionally and encourage daily activity
  • Perform light household tasks related to the client

Requirements (Essential)

  • Right to work in Ireland
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or an equivalent qualification
  • Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
  • Willingness to complete Garda Vetting and reference checks

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Previous experience in homecare or healthcare
  • Experience supporting clients with mobility needs
  • Full driving license
