Castle-Forms is a leading manufacturer of high-quality Expanded Polystyrene insulated construction products and systems that are used in the new build construction sector.

Due to expansion, we are seeking to hire General Operator / Machine operator, who will be responsible for receiving, locating and picking materials in support of the production schedules. As per business needs you will be required to be trained cross functional departments and will be required to operate machines and stand into a production operative role. You will need key attention to detail as you will carry out all work in an accurate and safe manner.

Job Description:

  • Order picking / packing
  • Operating machinery as part of the production schedule
  • Forklift Driving
  • Goods Inwards / outward
  • General housekeeping
  • Ensure that strict Inventory Control Techniques are adhered to and ensure all material is recorded in and out correctly.
  • Ensure that all relevant operational documentation is always completed accurately and in full

In addition to your normal duties, you may be required to undertake other duties appropriate to your position as may be assigned to you by your supervisor and/or a member of the management team.

You may be required to work shifts,, and overtime as per business needs but initially, we will be working between the hours of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday

Competencies and skills required:

Excellent communication

Must be able to follow detailed instructions

Be meticulous in your work with attention to detail

Reliable, hardworking, and flexible, team player, fast learner

Forklift licence (preferred)

Mechanical experience (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time
