Why this role as an Electrician with Kepak:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Maintenance team during a major period of investment and expansion at our Watergrasshill site. With new equipment and significant upgrades being implemented, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.

As an Electrician, you will work alongside a team of skilled electricians and mechanics within a structured and supportive department. Please Note: This is a shift-based role covering 24/7 operations, with alternating day and night shifts on a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule.

What to Expect in the Job:

  • Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting
  • Electro-Mechanical Repairs
  • Provide Technical Support
  • Closely Monitor Line and Machine Performance
  • Work with Equipment Suppliers on New Equipment, Installations, and Modifications
  • Troubleshooting Using PLC Programs
  • Minimal Breakdown Recovery Time
  • Optimise Overall Equipment Effectiveness

Requirements


What We’re Looking For:

  • A Trade Qualification is essential.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical background.
  • Natural process awareness and attention to detail.
  • Experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Comfortable with computer systems and digital tools.
  • Observant and able to work independently when needed.
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to be multi-skilled and embrace cross-training opportunities.
