First Line Maintenance (FLM) ATM Technician (Dublin and Limerick)

GSLS is an industry leader in providing Cash In Transit Services. Due to continued growth and expansion, GSLS currently has a fantastic opportunity for a FLM ATM Technician. This is a fulltime permanent role.

Hours: 40

Pay: Depending on experience

Location: Field-based role involving travel between ATM locations

Purpose of the Role:

To provide first-line technical support, preventive maintenance, and fault resolution for ATM networks, ensuring maximum uptime and service availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Respond to ATM service calls and breakdowns.

Ø Perform first-line fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Ø Clear cash jams, card jams, and receipt printer issues.

Ø Conduct routine preventive maintenance visits.

Ø Inspect ATM hardware for wear and damage.

Ø Restart, reconfigure, and test ATM systems.

Ø Escalate complex hardware, software, or network faults to second-line support.

Ø Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.

Ø Ensure compliance with security and safety procedures.

Required Skills:

Ø Basic knowledge of ATM hardware and software.

Ø Understanding of PC hardware and operating systems.

Ø Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.

Ø Familiarity with networking fundamentals.

Ø Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ø Ability to work independently in the field.

Ø Good problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Ø Diploma or certificate in Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
