  • Hybrid work options
  • €70,000 salary on offer
  • 10% Bonus + Benefits

Looking for your next move in financial services? A leading financial services organisation in South Dublin has a need for a Financial Accountant — and they're offering genuine flexibility alongside a strong benefits package.
  • Hybrid working and a supportive, collaborative culture
  • 10% bonus
  • Broad exposure across the business from day one
About the Role This is a chance to step into a high-visibility position within a growing financial services organisation, working alongside multiple departments and senior stakeholders. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you'll be at the centre of the company's reporting cycle.
Day to day, you'll play a key part in the preparation, analysis and review of financial reporting processes — covering monthly group reporting, regulatory reporting and statutory reporting. It's an ideal role for a qualified accountant who wants to sharpen their technical expertise in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Supporting the technical accounting and reconciliation of inputs from various operating systems into the general ledger and sub-ledgers (SAP)
  • Reviewing and analysing data flows between operating systems and the integration of that data
  • Preparing management accounts and reports, with analysis of variances and trends
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to senior management
  • Preparing statutory financial statements
  • Co-ordinating statutory and internal audit processes and engaging with external auditors
  • Reviewing and monitoring the company's investment portfolio, ensuring month-end investment closing processes are completed accurately
  • Supporting the planning and budgeting cycles
  • Identifying and implementing financial system and process improvements
  • Taking part in ad-hoc financial projects as required
What You'll Need:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA preferred)
  • At least 2 years' PQE, ideally within financial services
  • Excellent technical accounting background — IFRS 17 experience an advantage
  • Advanced Excel and comfort working with large data sets
  • Solvency II reporting experience an advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work to strict reporting deadlines and manage competing priorities
