Career Vision Recruiters have an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Food & Beverage Manager to join a well-established hotel operation in Co. Kerry.

The hotel is currently undergoing an exciting period of development, with a strong focus on elevating its F&B offering and guest experience. The operation includes a busy bar and restaurant, strong local trade, weddings, functions and events.

This is a hands-on, floor-focused management role, reporting to the General Manager. The successful candidate will lead the team, drive service standards and play a key role in the continued development of the F&B operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the hotel's bar and restaurant
• Maintain a strong management presence on the floor, particularly during key service periods
• Lead, train, coach and develop the F&B team
• Drive consistently high standards of service, presentation and cleanliness
• Create a positive and guest-focused team culture
• Manage rosters, labour deployment and departmental productivity
• Monitor stock, beverage GP, wastage and cost control
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maximise F&B performance
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, promotions and service development
• Support the delivery of weddings, functions and events
• Take responsibility for agreed departmental targets and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing requirements
• Participate in the Duty Management roster when required

• A confident and highly visible leader on the floor
• Naturally engaging, personable and comfortable interacting with guests
• Passionate about hospitality and consistently high service standards
• Strong in restaurant and bar operations
• Experienced in leading, coaching and motivating a team
• Hands-on, energetic and comfortable working in a busy environment
• Organised and calm under pressure
• Commercially aware, with an understanding of labour, margins, GP and stock control
• Experienced in, or familiar with, weddings, banqueting and events — desirable but not essential
• Ambitious and keen to develop their career within hotel F&B
