Full job description

Data Center Infrastructure Project Delivery Expert

About the Role:

We are hiring an Infrastructure Project Delivery Expert to be based full-time on-site at a data center construction project, overseeing delivery progress, identifying and resolving delivery risks, and ensuring project management requirements are followed. This role acts as the key coordination point on-site among stakeholders, and requires solid working knowledge across the full data hall construction scope — electrical, HVAC, low-voltage systems, fire protection, civil works, and fit-out.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be based full-time on-site at the project, overseeing delivery progress and identifying and resolving delivery risks or issues to ensure delivery targets are met;

2. Oversee on-site work to ensure strict adherence to all project management requirements;

3. Participate in and organize communication with key stakeholders, ensuring project information is shared in a timely manner;

4. Manage project documentation to ensure complete and accurate project records;

5. Complete project status reports.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above; Electromechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field preferred; 3-5 years of experience in data hall/data center construction;

2. Overseas construction experience preferred, along with deep involvement in the full construction and handover-to-operations lifecycle of a data hall;

3. Solid working knowledge of data center construction fundamentals, covering electrical, HVAC, low-voltage systems, fire protection, civil works, and fit-out;

4. Familiar with the division of responsibilities across construction workstreams (including contractors and subcontractors), with strong project management ability; familiar with how construction phases interconnect, able to identify key control points for concealed-work inspections, phased inspections, and final acceptance/completion inspections;

5. Working understanding of the "people, resources, materials, methods, and environment" factors in delivery execution, with corresponding empathy for on-site teams; sharp logical thinking, analytical judgment, adaptability, and problem-solving ability when dealing with external parties;

6. Strong internal communication and coordination skills, able to effectively drive cross-functional collaboration; Fluent English, with Mandarin proficiency a plus;

7. Results-oriented, strong sense of responsibility and resilience under pressure, fast learner, strong ability to synthesize knowledge with solid writing skills, and a strong team player;

8. Global mindset, open to multicultural environments, with strong adaptability and willingness to accept medium-to-long-term overseas business travel and on-site project assignments.

What We Value

  • Strong safety awareness, compliance mindset, and respect for procedures.
  • Hands-on attitude and willingness to work in an on-site technical environment.
  • Reliability, punctuality, ownership, and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication and timely escalation when issues or risks appear.
  • Teamwork across IT operations, facility, security, asset management, vendors, and customer-side teams.
  • A learning mindset. Candidates do not need to know everything from day one, but they must be able to follow SOPs carefully and grow with the project.

What We Provide

  • A role in international data center operations, with exposure to stable, process-driven IDC delivery in Europe.
  • Role-specific onboarding, site induction, SOP training, and support from experienced technical and project teams.
  • Necessary work equipment, tools, PPE, and site access support according to project and site requirements.
