About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on engineer to join our Engineering team on site, supporting and improving our manufacturing processes, with a focus on insulated panel production and rollforming lines.

This is a practical, shop-floor-based role where you will be an active contributor to daily operations, while also supporting the planning and coordination of maintenance activities.

The role suits someone who is a self-starter and has a very strong practical knowledge. Extensive production environment experience and a desire and capability to lead a team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working as part of the Engineering team, supporting day-to-day production
  • Keeping production lines running efficiently and safely on rollforming and panel lines
  • Troubleshooting, root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions for issues
  • Contributing to the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
  • Supporting preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Working closely with operators and engineering to resolve issues
  • Making practical improvements to processes and workflows
  • Quickly taking on responsibility for coordinating and guiding a small team

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

  • Experience working with manufacturing machinery or production lines
  • Strong hands-on and proven troubleshooting ability
  • Proven experience of working with mechanical/electrical and control systems in production
  • Comfortable working on the shop floor in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in rollforming, steel, or panel manufacturing
  • A recognised technical qualification
  • Exposure to maintenance planning or scheduling
  • Familiarity with production systems / ERP
