Location: Longford, Co. Longford

Full-time, permanent position. Monday-Friday.

Reporting to the Innovation & NPD Manager.

Salary & Benefits

About the Company

Our client is a leading food manufacturing business producing premium bakery products for retail and foodservice customers. Due to continued growth and investment in innovation, they are looking to recruit an experienced Baker to join their product development team and help create exciting new bakery products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine new bread and bakery products through hands-on baking, testing and recipe development.
  • Apply technical expertise in dough handling, fermentation, ingredients and baking processes to deliver high-quality products.
  • Work closely with NPD, Operations and Commercial teams on customer-focused product development projects.
  • Support bakery trials, product improvements and continuous innovation initiatives.
  • Mentor colleagues and help maintain high standards of quality, consistency and craftsmanship.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years' experience as a Baker within a commercial bakery or food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of bread production, dough development, fermentation and bakery ingredients.
  • Passion for creating innovative bakery products with excellent hands-on baking skills.
  • Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
