Full job description

The Woodford Dolmen Hotel is currently recruiting for an experienced, creative and commercially minded Digital Marketing Executive to join the busy Marketing office of our 4-star hotel on a full-time basis..

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can comfortably manage multiple campaigns and deadlines at the same time, taking them from idea through to delivery.

You’ll work across all areas of the hotel, including accommodation, weddings, events, conferences, food & beverage and seasonal promotions. You will be expected to help drive awareness, engagement, enquiries, bookings and revenue across our digital channels.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Social media planning and content creation across various channels.
  • Developing and managing Meta and Google advertising
  • Updating & maintaining website content and applying best practice SEO to all online content.
  • Creation and execution of Email marketing
  • Creation of short form video, reels and other social-first content.
  • Digital advertising campaign planning and reporting, including analysing performance and identifying opportunities
  • Monitoring competitor activity, hospitality trends and emerging digital marketing opportunities.
  • Working closely with hotel departments to promote offers, events and experiences
  • Assist with other marketing, PR & Promotional activities as required.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven digital marketing experience
  • Strong social media, content creation and copywriting skills, with a good working knowledge of Canva or similar creative platforms.
  • Experience with paid digital advertising
  • Good knowledge & understanding of SEO, Google Analytics and online campaign reporting
  • Excellent organisation & time management skills along with attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, working both independently and as part of a team.

Hospitality, tourism, leisure or events experience would be a strong advantage.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced digital marketeer who wants a varied role where they can bring ideas to the table, and be able to take ownership of taking an idea from initial concept through to campaign creation, launch, monitoring & reporting.
