Full job description

Responsibilities

  • Report to Human Resource Manager or designated representative.
  • Support the function in the day to day running of the Human Resources department.
  • Flexible in performing the basic functions of the HR department in areas of personnel management, HR initiatives, organizational change and projects.
  • Work closely with management and supervisors for optimum work force support.
  • Advise management team on HR aspects including conditions of service, pay, employee relations and best practice in the work place
  • High volume recruitment and selection, including interviews, organization of pre-employment medical checks, reference checks and recruitment related administration.
  • On-boarding of new employees, including preparation of contracts, documents, delivering induction and personnel file creation.
  • Drafting job specifications.
  • General administration required of the Human Resource function.
  • Documentation control of forms, job specifications etc.
  • Policy and Procedure creation, implementation and administration.
  • Employee relations management- hearings, performance reviews, investigations etc.
  • Employee engagement organization and implementation.
  • Hosting and delivering employee communications.
  • Benefits research and administration.
  • Training organization and facilitation.
  • Maintenance of HRIS- HR Locker.
  • Access control system maintenance.

Education / Qualifications (Desirable but not Essential)

  • L8 Human Resource qualification or equivalent (Business, Legal Studies)
  • IBEC/CIPD membership

Training / Experience (Desirable but not Essential)

  • Min 2 years’ experience in HR Generalist role
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite and information systems
  • Experience in use of HR Information System and Attendance management System
