We are currently seeking a highly motivated Administration Support Grade I to join our team in Kerry.
Contract Type: 0.8 WTE Permanent Contract
Contract Hours: 28 hours per week
Salary Scale: 28,377 - 45,922 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSIs (Long Service Increments)
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations
Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days pro rata per annum
Overview of the Post:
To provide a wide range of administration supports to the Childrens Disability Network Team and Childrens Services Manager.
Overall duties and responsibilities:
Provide administrative supports to the Team as follows:
- Provide all necessary administration supports to teams and clinics to include typing of meeting agendas, team minutes and IFSPs, updating Goldmine and service user hard and soft copy records in this regard and any other administration supports as required.
Provide typing services to support general clinic administration to include:
- Letters, reports, submissions, mailings, memos, agendas, minutes (to include attendance at meetings as required), and any other correspondence as delegated
- Transcription of medical tapes into typed documents and handwritten forms into typed reports
- Assist with the preparation of files as requested under FOI and GDPR
The successful candidate will have
Essential Criteria:
Qualifications & Experience
- Leaving certificate or equivalent standard of education
- A minimum of 1 years relevant secretarial/administrative experience
- Excellent IT skills, including extensive use of and proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
- Experience of working with a database software system.
- Fluency in the English language (written & verbal).
- Eligible to work in the State.
Desirable Criteria:
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of working in a similar role in the healthcare/disability or equivalent sector.
- Full clean drivers license
- Experience of working at reception
- A relevant secretarial/business or IT qualification
