Ceannaire Medical Ltd is an Irish privately held medical device distributor operating across Ireland and the UK that specialises in the distribution of unique devices. We take pride in supporting healthcare providers to provide cost-effective solutions to achieve economic outcomes.

Ceannaire Medical Ltd operate within the areas of Obstetrics, Colorectal and Wound care.

We are delighted to be able to add a Colorectal Clinical Nurse to our growing organisation. This role will be Part-time or Full time with travel, online work and telephone work (from home). The role is based in Munster.

Key Responsibilities

  • To function within the national business plan utilising clinical expertise to enhance the reputation of Ceannaire Medical within the colorectal market.
  • To co-ordinate and assist in the development and the management of product evaluations and clinical case studies across Ireland.
  • To deliver hands on training session for current users of the Ceannaire Medical product portfolio (colorectal)
  • To support the launch of new product ranges where appropriate.
  • To support educational and commercial activities at a local and regional level by delivering added value activities including bespoke study events.
  • To contribute towards regional sales and development plans by utilising clinical knowledge and expertise to drive activities and engagement of local and regional key opinion leaders.
  • To work with end-users to advise them on suitable devices for the best clinical outcome.
  • To provide hands on support and training for new colorectal patients.
  • To deliver the key performance indicators for the programmes you have been assigned.
  • Maintain professional registration, up-to-date knowledge and evidence base in colorectal.

Key Skills

  • Have the ability to use clinical credibility to establish trust and develop mutual respect with customers
  • Adapts and personalises key messages accordingly
  • Comfortably discusses product differentiation with knowledge of the key messages
  • Proactively reviews regularly their KPIs to ensure they are met.
  • Interprets their KPIs with their field knowledge and uses them to diagnose the current situation to create their business plan
  • Understands patient pathways in the account
  • Able to identify local policies and drivers of change across the organisation
  • Has a broad understanding of current clinical practice
  • Actively keeps up-to-date with current best practice
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
