Full job description

We are currently seeking a part-time Medical Secretary/Receptionist to join our friendly, dedicated team in a busy, well-established medical practice in Ennis. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong administrative skills and a professional, patient-focused approach.

There is also an opportunity to assist with basic clinical tasks, with training provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and managing front desk operations
  • Scheduling appointments and handling patient enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate patient records with strict confidentiality
  • Supporting doctors and nursing staff with administrative duties
  • Assisting with basic clinical tasks (training provided)

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical reception or busy administrative role (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
