The Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced, fully qualified Facilities Manager to lead all site operations, critical utilities, site services, and capital expansion programmes. Please note: This is a leadership position reporting into the Sites Services Manager requiring completed professional degrees and extensive experience within a GMP-regulated environment.

What you will do:

  • Operational Leadership: Direct site-wide facilities, engineering support, and outsourced service providers to ensure maximum infrastructure reliability.
  • Critical Utilities Management: Oversee critical GMP utilities including HVAC, high-purity water systems, compressed air, boilers, chillers, and energy infrastructure.
  • Capital & Projects: Drive the planning and safe execution of major site developments, cleanroom expansions, and greenfield installations.
  • Compliance & Excellence: Maintain total compliance with FDA, GMP, EHS, and corporate safety standards across all site systems.
  • Financial Accountability: Oversee site-wide facilities operating budgets, asset management lifecycles, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) programs.

Where you fit (Strict Minimum Requirements):

  • Completed Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
  • Proven Leadership Experience leading facilities in a Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Bio-pharma manufacturing facility operating under strict GMP/regulatory guidelines.
  • Project Delivery Track Record: Proven history of executing major site expansions or infrastructure projects (ideally €5M+) while keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly.
  • Team Leadership: Stated success managing large technical teams, maintenance groups, and external contractors.
