The Opportunity
We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join our design team. This role offers the chance to learn, develop, and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced engineering environment. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience working on a variety of projects and industries while contributing to innovative engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of engineering solutions using SolidWorks
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and 3D models
- Support the creation of detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams (manufacturing, quality, and project management)
- Engage with customers to understand requirements and provide technical support
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure work aligns with company standards for safety, quality, and delivery
Requirements
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (this is a customer-facing role)
- High level of reliability, with excellent timekeeping and attendance
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline)
- Exposure to a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Familiarity with steel and aluminium fabrication processes
