What You'll Do


As our Environment, Health & Safety Officer, you'll play a key role in fostering a culture of safety across the business of CWS Cleanrooms.

You will:

  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and company policies.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments (experience with chemical risks is a plus).
  • Lead accident and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are identified and implemented.
  • Deliver engaging safety training programs (including manual handling).
  • Maintain up-to-date training records, safety statements, and documentation.
  • Liaise with insurers, consultants, and stakeholders on all H&S matters.
  • Support continuous improvement through regular safety audits and reporting.
  • Provide H&S inductions for new staff and subcontractors.
  • Drive safety culture as part of an international H&S Team at CWS Cleanrooms


What You'll Bring


  • Relevant Degree in Health & Safety (or related field)
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar EHS role.
  • A full, clean driver's licence.
  • Certified Manual Handling Instructor an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong background in risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with online management systems an advantage).
  • A positive, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Travel: Occasional travel to client sites - flexibility is key.
