HR Business Partner / Senior HR Generalist


Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders and employees to deliver strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle, providing trusted advice, practical people solutions and coaching that drive business performance, organisational effectiveness and a positive employee experience.
  • Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, performance and absence management, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Coach and develop managers on people management, employment legislation, HR policies and HR best practice.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, talent management, succession planning, learning and development, employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders to deliver organisational change initiatives and effective employee communications.
  • Own HR metrics and reporting, analysing trends and using data-driven insights to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and support strategic people decisions.
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects that strengthen culture, enhance the employee experience and build leadership capability.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, Health & Safety requirements, mandatory HR training and company policies.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Level 8) in Human Resource Management, Business Management or a related discipline.
  • 4–5 years' progressive HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing or similarly regulated environment.
  • Strong experience in employee relations, manager coaching and performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility, influence stakeholders and develop effective working relationships.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and delivering practical, business-focused HR solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data, identify trends and make informed recommendations.
  • Experience using HRIS systems such as Workday is desirable.
  • Postgraduate HR qualification and/or CIPD qualification is desirable.
