As a System Administrator (P2), you will play a key role in supporting the stability, security, and performance of McKesson Technology's endpoint and infrastructure environment. Working within the End User Computing and Infrastructure teams, you will help manage and support enterprise devices across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms while contributing to a seamless technology experience for employees. You will leverage modern endpoint management tools, monitoring solutions, and automation technologies to resolve issues,maintaincompliance,andimproveoperationalefficiency.Thisrolepartnerscloselywithseniorengineers,securityteams,servicedeskteams,andvendorstosupportareliableandsecuretechnologyenvironment.

WhatYou'llDo(Responsibilities)

  • Monitorendpointandinfrastructurehealthusingenterprisemonitoringandanalyticstools,identifyingissuesandtakingcorrectiveactiontomaintainsystemperformanceandavailability.
  • Administerandsupportendpointmanagementplatforms,includingMicrosoftIntuneandJamf,acrossWindows,macOS,iOS,andAndroiddevices.
  • Troubleshootandresolvehardware,software,operatingsystem,anddevicemanagementissueswhileensuringtimelyescalationofcomplexincidents.
  • Performendpointpatching,softwaredeployment,deviceconfiguration,andlifecyclemanagementactivitiesinaccordancewithsecurityandcompliancestandards.
  • Supportendpointsecurityinitiativesbyapplyingconfigurationupdates,validatingcompliancecontrols,andassistingwithremediationactivities.
  • LeveragescriptingandautomationtoolssuchasPowerShelltostreamlineadministrativetasks,improveoperationalefficiency,andreducemanualeffort.
  • Maintainaccuratetechnicaldocumentation,systeminventories,andoperationalprocedureswhilecontributingtocontinuousimprovementinitiatives.

BasicRequirements

  • 2+yearsofexperiencesupportingenterpriseendpointenvironmentsacrossWindows,macOS,iOS,andAndroidplatforms.

  • WorkingknowledgeofPowerShellscripting,automation,andendpointremediationconcepts.
  • Experiencetroubleshootinghardware,software,operatingsystem,andendpointmanagementissuesinacorporateenvironment.
  • ExposuretoNexthink,endpointanalytics,digitalemployeeexperienceplatforms,orsimilarmonitoringandreportingtools.
  • Understandingofendpointsecurity,compliancecontrols,patchmanagement,devicelifecyclemanagement,andenterprisesupportbestpractices.
