Full job description
M&M Qualtech are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector on our day shift.
The Quality Inspector will join a team of Quality professionals and engineers and work cross functionally with engineering and production.
This is an initial 11 month fixed term contract position with a view to going on for longer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of medical devices, partially assembled or finished medical devices.
- Completing Quality Forms according to standards and procedures.
- Following GMP and GDP to the highest standard.
- Perform review of device history records for release of finished goods.
- Maintains quality standards.
- Incoming Inspection, In process and Final Inspection of the Medical Product.
- Resolve any non-conformances found through Corrective Action System with the approval of the Quality Manager.
- Patrol Inspect the above Business Unit.
- Produce weekly reports on Quality Index etc.
- Become a member of the Quality Auditing Team.
- Identify and segregate all non-conforming product.
- Support document control in the control of drawings and specifications within the area.
- Carry out other duties as required.
Criteria
- Previous relevant experience in a Quality role in med tech/manufacturing environment highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically EXCEL.
- Strong communication skills – team player.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Knowledge or experience of a Quality Management System would be advantageous.
