Full job description

M&M Qualtech are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector on our day shift.

The Quality Inspector will join a team of Quality professionals and engineers and work cross functionally with engineering and production.

This is an initial 11 month fixed term contract position with a view to going on for longer.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of medical devices, partially assembled or finished medical devices.
  • Completing Quality Forms according to standards and procedures.
  • Following GMP and GDP to the highest standard.
  • Perform review of device history records for release of finished goods.
  • Maintains quality standards.
  • Incoming Inspection, In process and Final Inspection of the Medical Product.
  • Resolve any non-conformances found through Corrective Action System with the approval of the Quality Manager.
  • Patrol Inspect the above Business Unit.
  • Produce weekly reports on Quality Index etc.
  • Become a member of the Quality Auditing Team.
  • Identify and segregate all non-conforming product.
  • Support document control in the control of drawings and specifications within the area.
  • Carry out other duties as required.

Criteria

  • Previous relevant experience in a Quality role in med tech/manufacturing environment highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically EXCEL.
  • Strong communication skills – team player.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Knowledge or experience of a Quality Management System would be advantageous.
