Currently we are looking for a Reliability Technician to join us within the semi-conductor industry in Kildare.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather and collate data for each asset of the plant to ensure every item is accounted for with the correct information ensuring no single point of failure.
  • Review and analyse SCADA points from operational systems.
  • Match SCADA points to existing assets within the asset management database.
  • Work closely with process engineers, maintenance teams, and equipment vendors to implement reliability improvements and system upgrades.
  • Utilise CMMS to track failures, maintenance activities, and equipment performance trends.
  • Investigate discrepancies between SCADA data and asset records.
  • Support Six Sigma, FMEA, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce process variability.
  • Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, reliability metrics, and adherence to ISO standards.

Authority:

  • You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
  • Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or data analytics preferably.
  • Strong data analysis and process tracking skills.
  • Understanding of SCADA systems and industrial control systems.
  • Strong PC skills, particularly MS office suite. (Specifically excel and word)
  • Experience in Mechanical systems such as HVAC, Pumping systems, process delivery systems, chillers, boilers etc an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Strong team working ethos.
  • Strong team player.
  • Problem Solver.
