Area Commercial Manager – Ireland
Salary: €70000 - €75000

Arjo are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced and commercially driven sales professional to join Arjo as Area Commercial Manager – Ireland.

This is a key sales leadership role responsible for driving profitable growth, developing high-value commercial opportunities, and leading a high-performing team across the Republic of Ireland. Reporting to the National Commercial Manager, this field-based position plays a vital role in expanding Arjo’s presence across the acute, long-term care, community, private healthcare, and construction sectors.

About the Role

As Area Commercial Manager, you will lead the commercial direction for Ireland, identifying and converting sales opportunities across Arjo’s product and solution portfolio. You will build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influence tender opportunities, and work collaboratively across the business to deliver customer-focused solutions that drive sustainable revenue and market share growth.

This role requires a strong blend of strategic sales leadership, commercial awareness, relationship management, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and profitability across the Republic of Ireland
  • Lead, coach and develop the Ireland commercial team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across HSE, private hospitals, care groups, architects and contractors
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across all Arjo product portfolios
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Rentals, Service, Mobility Outcomes, Sales Support and Marketing to deliver solution-based selling
  • Manage tender opportunities and support purchasing processes
  • Develop and implement annual business plans, forecasts and sales strategies
  • Share competitor and market intelligence to support business growth
  • Ensure a consistent and effective sales approach through planning and reporting tools

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a confident and results-focused sales leader with a proven track record in commercial success. You will have experience in a customer-facing sales or commercial management role, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead a team to deliver strong, sustainable results.

You will ideally bring:

  • Proven success in sales and/or commercial management
  • Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills
  • Experience of working in the healthcare sector, ideally medical devices
  • Knowledge of the Irish healthcare market, including HSE procurement and tendering processes
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in forecasting, CRM usage and quotation management
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders and functions
  • A proactive, resilient and customer-focused mindset

Additional Information

  • Location: Field-based, Republic of Ireland
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent
  • Reports to: National Commercial Manager
  • Travel: Regular travel across ROI and UKI, including occasional overnight stays
  • Other requirements: Valid Irish driving licence, eligibility to work in Ireland and the UK, and enhanced Garda vetting
