CNC Milling Machine Operator / Setter – Medical Devices

Caragh Precision is currently recruiting for Machine Setters & Programmers for our company, based in Parkmore Business Park, Co. Galway.

Requirements:

· CNC machining, setting and programming experience essential.

· Knowledge and experience of different CNC lathes and mills a distinct advantage.

  • Accuracy and good attention to detail.
  • Good level of written and spoken English.
  • Mechanical aptitude an advantage.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

General Function

Reporting to the Cell Lead / Production Supervisor, the CNC Machine Setter / Programmer is responsible for delivering on production and quality requirements in the turning department.

Main Duties

  • Programming, setting up and running CNC Turing Machines
  • Following procedures and carrying out visual inspections on specialised products to make sure correct specifications are followed.
  • Maintaining high attention to detail at all times.
  • Achieving daily/weekly targets.
  • Adhere to Company policies and ensuring health and safety regulations are maintained at all times.
