EHS Advisor
Location: Cork | Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: €50,000 – €65,000 DOE + Benefits

THE ROLE:
Reporting to the EHS Manager, you'll provide support and guidance to site and project teams across multiple construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and Irish legislation.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS systems and procedures
  • Conduct site audits, inspections and compliance reviews
  • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and safety training sessions
  • Review risk assessments, method statements and safety documentation
  • Support site teams on daily health, safety and environmental matters
  • Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans
  • Monitor legislative changes and ensure ongoing compliance
  • Contribute to EHS reporting and performance improvement initiatives

THE PERSON:
This role will suit an EHS Advisor, Health & Safety Officer or Health & Safety Advisor with construction experience. Candidates looking to take the next step in their EHS career within a busy contractor environment are encouraged to apply.
  • Degree, Diploma or Higher Diploma in Health & Safety or SHWW
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an EHS role
  • Construction industry experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of Irish construction health & safety legislation
  • Experience carrying out audits, inspections and site reporting
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
