EHS Advisor
Location: Cork | Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: €50,000 – €65,000 DOE + Benefits

THE COMPANY:

THE ROLE:
Reporting to the EHS Manager, you'll provide support and guidance to site and project teams across multiple construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and Irish legislation.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS systems and procedures
- Conduct site audits, inspections and compliance reviews
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and safety training sessions
- Review risk assessments, method statements and safety documentation
- Support site teams on daily health, safety and environmental matters
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure ongoing compliance
- Contribute to EHS reporting and performance improvement initiatives
THE PERSON:
This role will suit an EHS Advisor, Health & Safety Officer or Health & Safety Advisor with construction experience. Candidates looking to take the next step in their EHS career within a busy contractor environment are encouraged to apply.
- Degree, Diploma or Higher Diploma in Health & Safety or SHWW
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an EHS role
- Construction industry experience is essential
- Strong understanding of Irish construction health & safety legislation
- Experience carrying out audits, inspections and site reporting
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
