Drive how connected healthcare systems work end to end.

In this role, you act as the technical product expert for data flow and system architecture across the Resmed ecosystem. You ensure that device, software, and cloud components work together seamlessly to meet patient and market needs. You operate at system level, bringing clarity across teams, aligning stakeholders, and shaping how complex products are designed and delivered. Your work directly impacts how our solutions perform, scale, and evolve over time.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end data flow and system architecture for accountable features
  • Define and specify system-level data flows and acceptance criteria for V&V teams and vendors
  • Evaluate technical design alternatives together with subsystem experts and stakeholders
  • Ensure technical artefacts meet expectations on safety, performance, reliability, and functionality
  • Drive alignment across product teams, business units, and external vendors
  • Provide clarity on system-level deliverables and communicate expectations effectively
  • Organize and deliver system artefacts, including interface and data documentation
  • Identify early indicators of technical risks and define mitigation approaches
  • Analyse complex problem areas and guide teams toward resolution
  • Support planning of over-the-air updates to enhance customer and patient functionality
  • Ensure adherence to Resmed product development processes and propose improvements
  • Stay informed on cybersecurity standards and ensure ecosystem compliance

What You Bring

  • Degree in Engineering (Computer Engineering, Mechatronics), Science (e.g. Biophysics), or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
  • Experience with software development processes and agile methodologies
  • Experience working in new product development environments, including hardware
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and complex environments
Nice to have
  • Postgraduate qualification in Biomedical Engineering
  • Experience working in highly cross-functional, multi-domain teams
