Stainless Steel Fabricator (Cleanroom / Precision Sheet)

Location: Mullingar, Co. Westmeath
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
Salary: €20.00 – €25.00 per hour DOE | 39-hour week

Syntech Recruitment are partnering with a specialist stainless steel fabrication company in Mullingar to recruit an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator for a permanent role in a modern, well-equipped workshop.

This is precision, bespoke stainless work cleanroom fit-out, workstations, storage and custom one-off fabrications for some of Ireland's leading pharmaceutical, biopharma and medical device manufacturers. It's fine-gauge sheet fabrication to a high cosmetic and hygienic finish, not heavy structural work the kind of role that suits a skilled TIG fabricator who takes genuine pride in the appearance and precision of what they build.

Stainless Steel Fabricator Responsibilities
· Fabricate and assemble bespoke stainless steel components and cleanroom products to a high standard
· Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel — clean, cosmetic welds to a hygienic finish
· Produce one-off and custom builds from engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
· Operate workshop machinery — press brake, guillotine, band saws and cutting equipment
· Cut, form, fit and finish stainless sheet accurately to tight tolerances
· Carry out grinding, linishing and polishing to achieve required surface finishes
· Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications independently

Stainless Steel Fabricator Requirements
· Proven experience in stainless steel sheet fabrication
· Strong TIG welding experience on stainless steel — essential, with an eye for weld appearance and finish
· Experience with fine-gauge / sheet stainless work rather than heavy structural fabrication
· Competent operating a press brake, guillotine, saws and general workshop equipment
