Mergon International is seeking a motivated and reliable Production Facilities Cleaner to join our team at the Castlepollard plant.


The Production Facilities Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within the production facility. This includes ensuring cleanliness standards are met on the production floor, equipment, and surrounding areas. The role supports operational efficiency by minimizing contamination risks and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning of production areas, machinery, and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are upheld.
  • Dispose of waste materials appropriately and in line with environmental and safety policies.
  • Conduct sanitization of specific areas to reduce contamination risks, particularly in sensitive production zones.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies, sanitizers, and handwashing stations as needed.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties as may be required by supervisor from time to time.
