Job Title: Administrator – Radiology
Location: Carrickmines
Grade: Administrator
Role: Full time - 12 month fixed term contract

An exciting role has arisen within Vhi for position of Administrator at Vhi Carrickmines. Vhi Health & Wellbeing has been established to develop medical, health and wellbeing services for our customers.

As our service is provided to our patients between the hours of 7am – 10:30pm, Monday to Sunday (except for Bank Holidays, currently) flexibility to work across a rolling roster is a must.

What will you do:
Role Purpose:
  • Provide an excellent level of service to patients and customers attending the clinic.
  • Manage all communications in a respectful and courteous manner e.g face-to-face, phones, email, etc.
  • Ensuring all patient information is entered accurately and computerized patient files are updated and secured accordingly.
  • Organise and book patient appointments & advise of costs in relation to the range of VHI Healthcare policies.
  • Responsible for the smooth running of the reception area and provide support to cross-functional team members.
  • Provide support to the Site Manager and carry out any other duties as outlined on an Ad-hoc basis.

What you need to be successful:
Education & Experience:
  • Experience in an administrative or customer facing role.
  • Demonstrated capability in a customer facing environment is essential.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Patient and customer focused and demonstrating related skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT Skills – MicroSoft Office.
  • Demonstrate alignment with Vhi Values.
