HPLC Chemist
As a HPLC Chemist, at our Castlebar site, you will get the opportunity to become part of the Vantive culture, working closely with multiple dedicated teams including Microbiology, Validation, Production, Engineering, and other support functions. We have open positions across all shifts, shift premiums inclusive.
You will play a key role in processes which are critical to saving and sustaining lives.
What will you do as a HPLC Chemist at Castlebar, Co. Mayo?
Analyse samples from various phases of the manufacturing process
- Operate and maintain HPLC, UPLC & GC instrumentation
- Interpret data and meet strict guidelines on documentation when recording data
- Report analytical results
- Complete review of work completed by other HPLC Chemists
- Ensure HPLC Chemistry laboratory is operated in a compliant manner.
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Liaise with chemists and production personnel to ensure compliance and efficiencies are met
- Support the generation and approval of Quality Reviews and Annual Product Quality Reviews
- Identify continuous improvement and collaboration opportunities, promoting development and implementation of quality data and reports for improvement and optimization of business processes/results
- Help to maintain quality assurance programme and procedures for the Chemistry lab.
- Support the batch release process
- Support the QA department in the preparation for and during inspections and audits
- Support new product introductions from a QA perspective
What are the role requirements?
- Qualification in Chemistry or relevant Science subject
- Have a minimum of 1 years working with HPLC instrumentation and software, including data collection and processing.
- Experience with Waters HPLCs and use of Empower software is essential.
- You will have excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast -paced environment
- Work well in a team environment
