Erasmus+ Internship: Entrepreneurship & Communications Assistant – Granada, Spain (Fully Funded)

About the Opportunity

Are you interested in entrepreneurship, digital marketing, communications or event management? Would you like to gain international work experience in Spain?

Capacity Ireland is offering a fully funded Erasmus+ work placement in Granada, Spain, hosted by UGR Emprendedora, the entrepreneurship centre of the University of Granada.

This opportunity is open to eligible applicants currently residing in Ireland who want to develop their professional skills, gain international experience and explore the world of entrepreneurship and innovation.

The placement combines practical work experience with a mandatory vocational training course in Digital Media (Creative Methods for Social Media Marketing).

The placement runs from 7 January to 7 April 2027. Applicants must be available for the full placement period.

About the Host Organisation

UGR Emprendedora is the entrepreneurship centre of the University of Granada. It supports startups, innovation and entrepreneurial development through training, mentoring, networking and business support activities.

You will gain experience in a dynamic, university-based entrepreneurial environment, contributing to communications, events and activities that support the startup community.

Role: Entrepreneurship & Communications Assistant

You will support the delivery of entrepreneurial activities while developing practical skills in communications, digital content creation, event coordination and administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and coordination of entrepreneurship events, workshops and activities.
• Support CRM systems, contact databases and administrative tasks.
• Create and manage social media content for platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Assist with communications, marketing and outreach activities.
• Support the day-to-day management of coworking and event spaces.
• Attend events and help document activities through photography, content creation and reporting.
• Support engagement with entrepreneurs, startups, students and other stakeholders.
• Participate in training and activities related to entrepreneurship and innovation.

Some events may take place in the evening, so flexibility is required.

Who Should Apply?

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong interest in entrepreneurship, startups or innovation.
• An interest in social media, digital marketing and communications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn.
• An interest in design and content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and a willingness to learn in a dynamic working environment.

Previous professional experience is beneficial, but enthusiasm, initiative and a willingness to develop new skills are important.

What's Included in the Fully Funded Programme?

Successful participants will receive:

• €140 per week subsistence allowance for the duration of the placement.
• Fully funded accommodation in a shared apartment, with a private bedroom.
• Return flights and airport transfers.
• Travel medical insurance.
• A vocational Digital Media training course.
• Online and in-person Spanish language tuition.
• Ongoing programme support and pastoral care from Capacity Ireland.

The programme provides an opportunity to gain international work experience while developing practical and transferable professional skills.

Mandatory Digital Media Training

All participants must enrol in and complete the Digital Media – Creative Methods for Social Media Marketing vocational training course.

The course is delivered through online learning and guided sessions and includes assignments and assessments before and during the work placement.

Enrolment in the course is mandatory. Participants must begin the training before starting their Erasmus+ placement and continue engaging with the course throughout the programme.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, applicants must:

• Currently reside in Ireland.
• Have an Irish address and Irish bank account.
• Have the right to work in Ireland.
• Be available for the full placement period, from 7 January to 7 April 2027.
• Be willing to complete the mandatory Digital Media vocational training course.

This opportunity is not open to full-time students or applicants seeking a formal year-in-industry placement.
