About The Role

Are you a Digital Graphic Artist looking to apply your creative and technical skills to real-world development projects? Do you enjoy combining photography, digital editing and technical information to create accurate visualisations? Are you looking to develop a specialist career in planning visualisation and photomontage?

Macro Works, part of the APEM Group, is looking for a Digital Graphic Artist to join our specialist Graphics team. You’ll work on visualisations and photomontages for major infrastructure, renewable energy and development projects, using Photoshop and other digital tools to turn complex project information into clear, technically accurate outputs.

You’ll gain experience across the full visualisation process, including viewpoint surveys, panorama creation, image processing and final photomontage production. Working with experienced Graphics, GIS and LVIA colleagues, you’ll build your technical knowledge while taking increasing ownership of projects and supporting graduates within the team.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Degree qualification in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visualisation, Illustration, 3D Modelling, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design or a related discipline.
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Experience producing photomontages, visualisations and other technical graphics to professional standards.
  • Relevant understanding of planning visualisation methodologies and industry guidance.
  • Experience processing photography, creating panoramas and producing production-ready visual outputs.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans and spatial information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and provide guidance to junior colleagues.

Desirable:

  • Experience working on planning, infrastructure, renewable energy or environmental projects.
  • Knowledge of GIS software and spatial data.
  • Familiarity with CAD and 3D modelling workflows.
  • Experience participating in client meetings and technical discussions.
