Clinic Lead (Medical Doctor)
Recovery Healthcare
Sessional / Part-Time Opportunity 3 HRS PW
Recovery Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinic Lead to provide senior clinical oversight across our expanding services, including:
- National OPAT Programme
- Virtual Ward Service
- Nursing Advice Line
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality clinical care across all services.
The Role
As Clinic Lead, you will:
- Provide senior medical oversight and governance across OPAT, Virtual Ward, and Advice Line services
- Chair the monthly Clinical Governance Meeting
- Lead review of incidents, audits, complaints, and quality improvement initiatives
- Work closely with the CEO and Operations Manager to ensure governance actions are implemented and resolved
- Provide expert clinical advice on complex cases and service development
- Offer occasional out-of-hours support to the Operations Manager for urgent clinical queries
About You
You will be:
- A fully registered Medical Doctor with licence to practise
- Experienced in OPAT, infectious diseases, microbiology, acute medicine, or a related specialty
- Skilled in clinical governance and risk management
- Confident leading multidisciplinary discussions and driving quality improvement
- Passionate about safe, patient-centred ambulatory care models
Experience in virtual ward services or remote monitoring models is desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role within an innovative healthcare organisation delivering high-quality care in community and virtual settings.
