Medical Doctor – Men’s Health & Testosterone Replacement Therapy

The TRT Clinic | Tallaght, Dublin

About the Role

The TRT Clinic is a growing specialist men's health clinic focused on Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), hormonal health and men's wellbeing.

We are looking for a motivated, patient-focused Medical Doctor to join our team in Tallaght. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in a growing area of medicine while working in a modern, supportive clinical environment.

The role offers a flexible 3–4 day working week, consisting of 2–3 days working from our Tallaght clinic and 1 day working remotely from home, conducting telephone/telemedicine consultations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and clinical assessments
  • Review and interpret relevant blood and laboratory investigations
  • Assess and diagnose testosterone deficiency and related conditions
  • Prescribe and monitor Testosterone Replacement Therapy where clinically appropriate
  • Develop personalised treatment plans and provide ongoing follow-up
  • Provide clear patient education regarding treatment options, risks and benefits
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records
  • Work collaboratively with our clinical and support teams
  • Maintain high standards of clinical governance and patient safety

What We're Looking For

  • Full registration with the Irish Medical Council
  • Eligibility to practise independently in Ireland
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • High professional and ethical standards
  • An interest in men's health, hormonal medicine or TRT

Previous TRT experience is desirable but not essential. Training and clinical support will be provided.

What We Offer

  • Competitive remuneration
  • 2–3 days per week working from our Tallaght clinic
  • 1 day per week working remotely from home
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • No on-call or out-of-hours commitments
  • Medical indemnity fully paid by The TRT Clinic
  • Annual IMC registration fee paid by The TRT Clinic
  • Competitive annual leave entitlement
  • Paid sick leave
  • CPD and ongoing training
  • Dedicated administrative support
  • On-site phlebotomy support
  • Supportive and collaborative clinical environment
  • Career progression opportunities as the clinic grows
  • Opportunity to develop a specialist interest in men's health and hormonal medicine

Why Join The TRT Clinic?

We believe doctors should be able to focus on what matters most — providing excellent patient care.

With dedicated administrative and phlebotomy support, our doctors can spend more time with patients and less time dealing with routine administration.

If you're looking for a flexible role in a growing specialist clinic and have an interest in men's health, we'd love to hear from you.
