Join Ireland's Largest Private Hospital

St Vincent's Private Hospital is looking for motivated Staff Nurses to join its inpatient ward teams. You'll deliver holistic nursing care to patients across a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, working within one of the broadest specialty ranges in private healthcare in Ireland, including cardiology, general surgery, orthopaedics, oncology, urology, and vascular surgery.

Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you'll support patients throughout their hospital journey, from admission through to discharge, building strong clinical experience across medical and post-operative surgical care.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing holistic nursing care to medical and post-operative surgical patients
  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and implementing individualised care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments safely, in line with hospital policies and professional standards
  • Supporting discharge planning and providing patient and family education
  • Collaborating with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best patient outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Promoting dignity, privacy, and respect in every aspect of patient care
  • Taking part in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives

What You'll Need

  • NMBI registration as a Registered General Nurse (adaptation not available for this role)
  • Recent experience in acute medical or surgical nursing
  • Strong organisational and clinical skills
  • A postgraduate qualification is a bonus, but not essential
