What you will do:

  • Join a team of highly qualified and motivated employees serving customers in the Pharmaceutical, Medical, High-Tech, Civil Engineering and Waste Water Treatment sectors.
  • MIG / MAG and TIG welding of stainless steel and carbon steel products.
  • Fabrication of high-end stainless steel and carbon steel products for global supply.
  • Manufacture components and assemblies to detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Work in a state-of-the-art, internationally recognised workshop using production jigs, lifting equipment and a user-friendly work scheduling system.
  • Operate within a well-organised production environment where all materials and components are prepared before the start of the shift.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Flexibility may be required to work a rotating shift pattern of 6:00am – 2:00pm and 12:00pm – 8:00pm.

Qualifications / Competencies you should have

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in the manufacture of stainless steel and/or carbon steel fabrications is essential.
  • Time-served SOLAS-recognised trades qualification or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • High standard of welding experience in MIG / MAG welding, with TIG welding experience advantageous.
  • Ability to manufacture parts to drawing specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to strict tolerances.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment with a positive, can-do attitude.
