Your Responsibilities

A healthcare assistant supports nurses and other medical staff by providing basic patient care, such as helping with washing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. They monitor patients' conditions, take vital signs, and report any changes to the clinical team. Healthcare assistants also help maintain a clean and safe environment and offer emotional support to patients. Their role is essential in ensuring the comfort and dignity of those receiving care.


Requirements

  • Completed in QQI Level 5, working towards or willing to commence
  • Full clean Irish Driving License and access to own car
  • Relevant experience in the Healthcare sector
  • Up to date trainings (PMH, First Aid, HSE Land)
