Full job description

We are expanding our Administration Team and are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our well established, friendly team in Dublin 12.

The successful candidate will be required to deal with patients in person at reception as well as assisting with patient queries and appointment requests over the phone.

In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

  • Answering in-coming calls and re-directing as appropriate
  • Meeting & greeting patients to the Practice
  • Managing patient appointments
  • Preparing prescriptions
  • Day to day accounting including cash and card payments
  • Monitoring emails
  • Scanning and filing
  • Maintaining GMS records
  • Liaising with the clinical and administrative team throughout the day

The right candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, be reliable, hard working, enthusiastic and professional, a good communicator who can multitask and enjoys working as part of a team, have strong computer skills and have a flexible approach to work.

Fluent English, written & spoken, is essential for this role.

Previous Medical Reception or office administration experience is essential, applicants who do not have experience will not be considered.

Competitive salary DOE.

This is a permanent position, up to 32 hours weekly, part time / job share will be considered. Monday - Friday only, no weekends. Flexibility is essential to cover additional hours/days when required.

Pay: €15.00-€17.00 per hour
