Staff Grade Physiotherapist - Acute Hospital | South Dublin

Job Title:Phsiotherapist - HSE Agency Shifts

Reference: VAC-27415

Location: Co. Dublin, Ireland

Job Type: Temporary

Hours: Part Time

ISM Recruitment, is currently seeking Physiotherapist to work agency in HSE facilities located in Dublin, Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of inpatient wards as part of a rotational service.

The Role

As a Staff Grade Physiotherapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to the hospital's inpatient population.

Assess, treat, and support discharge planning for patients in an acute inpatient setting.

Manage referrals from NCHDs and nursing staff, including falls and mobility assessments.

Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for Stroke, Parkinson's disease, Falls and frailty, Orthopaedics, Dementia, Cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, and general medical presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a clinical caseload while delivering person-centred assessment and treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to establish rehabilitation goals.
  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services in line with local policies and clinical guidelines.
  • Practice within your professional scope, adhering to best practice and clinical governance.
  • Participate in continuing professional development, research, reflective practice, and clinical audit.
  • Comply with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Requirements

  • Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
  • Current CORU registration, or actively progressing CORU registration.
  • Experience in an acute or similar setting is desirable; placement experience will be considered.
  • Permission to work in Ireland.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, patient-focused approach.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
