Full job description
Logitech is the Sweet Spot for people who want their actions to have a positive global impact while having the flexibility to do it in their own way.
The role and team:
At Logitech, we believe design has the power to change lives. From the products people use every day to the materials we choose and the experiences we create, design is at the heart of everything we do. Now, we're looking for a Grant Specialist to help fuel our design innovation in Ireland.
In this role, you'll be the strategic link between Logitech's world-class Design teams and Ireland's rich landscape of government funding opportunities. You'll identify, secure, and manage grants from Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, Research Ireland, and EU programs that support our R&D in product design, sustainable materials, and user experience innovation.
This isn't just about paperwork—it's about enabling breakthrough design work that shapes how millions of people interact with technology.
Your Contribution:
Be Yourself. Be Open. Stay Hungry and Humble. Collaborate. Challenge. Decide and just Do. Share our passion for Equality and the Environment. These are the behaviors and values you’ll need for success at Logitech. In this role you will:
Be the Funding Expert:
-
Research and identify Irish and EU funding opportunities relevant to design innovation, including Enterprise Ireland R&D grants, IDA Ireland supports, Horizon Europe, and Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF).
-
Build deep expertise in grant programs that support product design, materials research, and UX innovation.
-
Stay ahead of funding trends and proactively advise Design leadership on strategic opportunities.
Drive Grant Success:
-
Lead the end-to-end grant application process—from opportunity identification through submission and reporting.
-
Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Finance teams to build compelling funding proposals that articulate design and technical innovation, and commercial potential.
-
Translate complex design and R&D concepts into clear, fundable narratives for grant bodies.
Manage Compliance & Relationships:
-
Ensure all grant-funded projects meet compliance requirements and reporting deadlines.
-
Maintain strong relationships with funding agencies, attending reviews and representing Logitech professionally.
-
Track grant budgets, coordinate with Finance on claims, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Enable Design Innovation:
-
Partner closely with our design leaders to understand design R&D roadmaps.
-
Identify which design initiatives align with funding criteria and help shape projects for maximum grant eligibility.
-
Contribute to Logitech's sustainability mission by securing funding for design for sustainability initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
Experience & Skills:
-
3+ years of experience in grant management, funding coordination, or R&D incentives—ideally within a design, engineering, or technology environment.
-
Proven track record of successful grant applications with Irish agencies (Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, Research Ireland) and/or EU programs.
-
Strong understanding of Ireland's R&D funding landscape, including R&D Tax Credits and innovation grants.
-
Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate design and technical concepts into compelling proposals.
-
Advanced proficiency in Google suite, Excel, and experience with project management or grant tracking tools
-
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Mindset & Approach:
-
Genuine interest in design, innovation, and sustainability
-
Collaborative spirit—comfortable working across Design, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams.
-
Proactive problem-solver who anticipates challenges and finds creative solutions.
-
Curious and self-driven, with a passion for continuous learning.
