The role

We’re looking for a driven, commercially minded field sales professional to own and develop our Howard Wright patient trolley portfolio across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. You’ll be calling on acute hospitals, emergency departments, and procurement teams — building relationships, running demos, and winning business that makes a real difference to patient care.

This is a home-based position, but the expectation is that you’ll be out on the road and in front of customers most days. If you thrive in the field and dislike being desk-bound, this role is built for you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing new business across HSE and HSC-funded hospitals and private healthcare facilities
  • Promoting the Howard Wright patient trolley range — including emergency, ward, and patient transport stretchers
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and clinical demonstration through to tender, order, and follow-up
  • Building relationships with clinical, procurement, and estates stakeholders across your territory
  • Providing accurate forecasting, CRM reporting, and territory planning

What we’re looking for

  • Proven field sales experience — you’re comfortable managing a territory and hitting targets independently
  • Medical or healthcare sales experience is highly desirable but not essential — capital equipment background a significant advantage
  • Existing relationships within HSE or HSC procurement, or within acute hospital settings in Ireland an advantage
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the island
  • Self-starter mentality — you’re comfortable building something from the ground up
