  • Responsibilities

  • Conduct screening of passengers, staff, baggage, and vehicles
  • Operate a range of security screening equipment
  • Provide clear and courteous communication to passengers
  • Manage queues and ensure smooth passenger flow
  • Maintain awareness of security protocols and report concerns
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety SOPs
  • Control access to restricted areas
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures
  • Assist during airport emergencies or unplanned events
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • Have legal right to live and work in Ireland
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness and availability to work a 24/7 shift roster (including nights, weekends, early mornings, and public holidays)
  • Ability to meet and maintain Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) certification standards
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, calm, and courteous manner
  • Comfortable working in high-traffic and seasonal peak environment
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Minimum of a Leaving Certificate or equivalent

Daa as regulated entity requires all applicants to:

  • Complete Aptitude assessment
  • Pass 5-year background check (including a criminal background check/Garda Vetting)
  • Pass a medical evaluation
  • S uccessfully meet all requirements to obtain an Airport Identity Card
