Full job description
We are currently searching for someone to join our Quality Department in our company based in Parkmore Business Park, Co. Galway. The hours 07:30-16:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:30-12:30 on Fridays.
Requirements:
- Degree in Biological Science or similar
- Advanced IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- 6-12 months experience working in a lab environment, with knowledge of microbiological test techniques.
- Ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment, adhering to strict deadlines/timescales.
- Ability to cope with fluctuating workloads..
Main Duties
- Highly customer focused and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience in laboratory techniques and practices, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations
- First class planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels.
- Ability to achieve and maintain high standards with meticulous attention to detail.
- Can work on own initiative.
