Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced QHSE Lead Auditor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a quality, environmental and health & safety professional with auditing experience across ISO management systems who is passionate about helping organisations improve performance and achieve compliance.

The Role

As a QHSE Lead Auditor, you will conduct independent assessments of management systems, evaluating compliance against recognised standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

You will work with a broad range of clients, identifying strengths, opportunities for improvement, and supporting organisations on their continual improvement journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct first, second and third-party audits against ISO standards.
  • Deliver objective assessments and detailed audit reports in line with company requirements.
  • Identify risks, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement within management systems.
  • Develop clear, accurate and value-adding reports within agreed service levels.
  • Respond to client technical queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the account management team to effectively plan and manage audit schedules.
  • Maintain and continually develop your professional competence across a range of industry sectors.
  • Manage challenging situations and differing viewpoints professionally and constructively.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings strong auditing expertise alongside excellent communication and organisational skills.

Essential Requirements

  • Third-level qualification, ideally in Quality, Environmental Management, Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a QEHS role within industry.
  • Experience designing, implementing and maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Ability to lead audits independently and confidently.
  • Excellent report-writing, planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Full clean Irish driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Ireland, with occasional travel to the UK and overseas.

Desirable Experience

Experience within one or more of the following sectors would be highly advantageous:

  • Food & Beverage
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Construction
  • Engineering
  • Manufacturing
  • Renewable Energy
  • Consultancy or professional services experience would also be beneficial.
