Full job description

Looking for a full time medical receptionist to work Monday to Friday. Position to start training Early to Mid August and start full time in September.

DUTIES:

  • Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic appointments, procedures, and medical consultations
  • Prepare clinics and efficient running of clinics
  • Typing and proof reading clinic letters and reports
  • Manage the office diary
  • Liaise with other hospital departments and medical practices
  • Bill patients and insurance companies
  • Deal with patient queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain strict GDPR guidelines at all times
  • Transmit correspondence and medical records by mail, e-mail, or fax
  • Responsible for book keeping and management of office accounts

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience at least one year as a Medical Secretary is essential (Administrative experience is essential)
  • Familiar with medical software such as iMeddoc and Meditech
  • Excellent typing skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and mange time efficiently

Pay: €16.00-€19.00 per hour
