D'Olier Street Restaurant is a modern Michelin-starred fine-dining restaurant in Dublin 2. We feature a seasonal tasting menu, full wine and non-alcoholic cocktail programs, and unparalled hospitality.

We are currently seeking a full-time Pastry Chef de Partie to join the team.

Who you are: The Pastry Chef de Partie position is a salaried team member who brings consistent and reliable culinary skill to D'Olier Street. They nurture positive team interactions by embodying excellence, and a desire to exceed expectations. They have strong communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a knowledgeable passion for food. The ability to interact with staff and management in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, efficient, and reliable is crucial to this role. The ideal candidate exudes professionalism at all times.

What you’ll do:

  • Anticipate service needs, ensuring constant communication with kitchen staff, management, and the front of house at all times during service
  • Follow D'Olier Street standard operating procedures
  • Perform opening, mid-shift and closing duties complying with operational standards
  • Assist other team members and management when needed

Preferred qualifications:

  • At least two years of professional kitchen experience in a Michelin or similar fine-dining environment
  • Ability to demonstrate classic cooking techniques
  • An understanding of food safety standards
  • Sense of urgency and comfort in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively, and interest in learning new skills
  • Availability Tuesday through Saturday
  • English fluency
