We are looking for an energetic, forward-thinking, and highly commercial Store Manager to take the reins of our flagship location. Here, you are not just a number. The Role: Core Duties & Responsibilities

As our Store Assistant Manager, you take full ownership of the store's operational excellence, team culture. You will safeguard our 45-year legacy of quality while driving modern growth and innovation across the entire shop floor.

Hands-On Shop Floor Leadership: Maintain an active, visible, and high-energy presence daily on the shop floor. Lead by example by directly engaging in the daily running of the shop alongside your team, ensuring immediate operational challenges are met with a practical approach.

Stock, Ordering & Supply Chain Management: Seamlessly oversee backend processes, including comprehensive stock control, optimized ordering systems, maintaining appropriate inventory depth, and minimizing shelf gaps while balancing stock turn efficiency.

Visionary Leadership & Team Culture: Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-energy team culture. Act as the ultimate role model, mentoring your team, managing performance, and ensuring every staff member feels valued, supported, and motivated.

Operational Control: Oversee daily store operations, ensure perfect planogram implementation, maintain impeccable store presentation standards, and optimize automated reordering cycles.

Champion the Community: Maintain that legendary, friendly local service our customers have expected from the Murphy family for generations, handling customer relations with absolute professionalism.

What We Are Looking For

The Experience: Proven experience as a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up within a fast-paced grocery or convenience retail environment. A minimum of 2 years of retail experience is required.

Technical Retail Solutions: Demonstrated competency working with modern retail solutions, EPOS, infrastructure, inventory tracking frameworks, or technical store applications to drive accuracy in stock management.

The Skills: Exceptional leadership and delegation skills, strong financial literacy (managing margins, labor costs, and KPIs), and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

The Mindset: A highly driven work ethic, a sharp commercial mind, and a genuine passion for modern grocery retail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €35,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
